Truncated Domes, also known as Detectable Warning Systems, are just another facet in compliance of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They are required to assist visually impaired folks be placed where pedestrian access sidewalks and streets, including crosswalks, curb ramps, pedestrian signals, parking, and other components of public rights-of-way flow.
